Handling the storm damage insurance claim process for your home can be difficult. Our experienced professionals are here to help you through the entire process.
One of our local experts will inspect your home for damage and give you an honest opinion on whether to file a claim. We will work with your insurance company on your behalf. Contact us today!
1. One of our field supervisors will conduct an inspection of your home to determine the extent of damage to your roof, siding, gutters, windows, and the interiors of your home (if necessary).
2. If there is legitimate storm damage, we will ask you to call your insurance company to initiate a claim. Insurance companies do not allow us to do this for you.
3. Once you receive an inspection date and time or claim number, one of our field supervisors will meet with the insurance adjuster assigned to your claim, and on your behalf, we will begin the restoration process.
4. Our field supervisor will meet with the adjuster and point out the damage to your home to decide what should be covered in the scope of work. We recommend your presence during the inspection to ensure that no damage goes unnoticed. However, if it is inconvenient for you to be there, your attendance is not required. If the adjuster agrees with our assessment, we will notify you immediately. If he disagrees or refuses to pay for everything that we feel you're entitled to receive, we'll also notify you immediately. In this case, we will request that a different adjuster reinspect your home. If they still refuse to pay you what we honestly feel you're entitled to, we can have an arbitrator completely reinspect your home.
5. If your claim is approved, your insurance will issue you a partial payment along with the scope of work. We will meet with you to discuss the approved scope of work. We will also discuss materials, color choices, time frame, contract and all other details necessary to complete the project.
6. Your field supervisor and office staff will be available to you throughout the remainder of the process.
7. After completion of the work on your home, we will invoice your insurance company for the remainder of the money due for the project. When you receive the final payment from your insurance company, our field supervisor will come to your home to pick up the check and do a final inspection to make sure that you are completely satisfied.
